To provide the AIESEC Spotted service, we collect the following data:

• Account Data: Your email address (@aiesec.it), name, role, and local committee (LC).
• Content: The posts, comments, and images you upload.
• Usage Data: Technical logs (IP addresses) are processed for security and anti-spam purposes but are generally not linked to public activity unless required for moderation.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to:

• Authenticate your identity (ensure you are an AIESECer).
• Display your profile and posts to other users.
• Send notifications (e.g., if you are tagged), which you can disable in Settings.
• Maintain the security of the platform.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on our VPS servers. We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties, except for trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website (e.g., email delivery services), so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

4. Cookies

We use local storage and session cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences (such as Dark Mode). We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising.

5. User Rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact the administrators or use the specific function in the App (if available).
